31.05.2010. Due to the fact that I'm left with less than a week's time before I enlist, it was time to celebrate BFF's Kimberly's 20th birthday first, since I will not be able to make on her birthday. So like how we celebrated BFF's Daphne's birthday, it was a 2D1N Stayover again.

We met up at Orchard first to go for the Aussie University Fair! After heading there for the 2nd time, I'm much more determined to head over to Australia to further my education right after my NS. Hopefully, by then money wouldn't be an issue! *prays hard* Well, got lots to discuss about it with my parents first though. After an hour or two of looking at the various universities, and Kimberly's application, we took a cab down to the restaurant that I've been having cravings for, Ju Shin Jung! Yup, today was "My Food Recommendations Day", since they haven't been there before, and following the Korean wave, we just have to make a date to this superb Korean BBQ! Yes, I've been there more than once, but who can resist BBQ Pork Belly, Kimchi and lots of K-pop music? I know I can't resist!

In case any of you are wondering, Ju Shin Jung has an outlet at East Coast Park as well, so you don't necessarily have to head to the one at Joo Chiat, which is the one we went to. It's located right at Katong Junction, a street away from Katong Mall.

Yup, like what it states on the menu. West: I think it's Pasir Panjang or somewhere there. East: East Coast Park. And Katong: The one we're at!

We were famished! All of us skipped breakfast just for this meal, although we did have my favourite YAMI Yogurt when we were at Orchard. Luckily, the side dishes came quite quickly and we were able to start off our meal first! *slurps*

Looking at it again just makes me salivate all over again! I say this everytime I see photos of the food!

PORK BELLY IS DELICIOUS! AND YES, I ATE ALOT!

Apart from just eating it plainly, adding many pieces of it to a piece of vegetable makes it even tastier!

*yum yum*

Look! Meat lovers scream and shout now! *screams*

I'm enjoying it, but what's with Kimberly's face? Or is that an orgasmic face?

Raw meat hurry and become cooked! I'm waiting to eat all of you!!!!

WOOT! They're done, and I did eat most of the meat. BFFs felt full eventually. Obviously, since Daphne ate 2 big bowls of rice along with pieces of meat, and Kimberly ate so many vegetables and drank 2 bowls of cold soup. It's a wonder they can still stuff food into their stomach!

Love the tea!!!

I'm waiting for the meat to be cooked so they can all be stuffed into my mouth. I'm a HUGE FAN OF KOREAN BBQ!!!! Who wants to head there again sometime?

A hungry man is an angry man! Despite having quite a lot of meat, I still wasn't very happy. So, I ordered more pork belly!!!!

There, now I'm happier! Stuff me with meat please!

After I could stuff no more, dessert came! Although it was just a heart-shaped sliced of watermelon and a cup of ginger tea, I think it's the best kind of dessert after a very meaty meal! Yes, I'm still very impressed with this place!

Very happy after this meal! Another meat eating meal soon please!

Yes, I have a very "interesting" BFF who likes to play games like that. And we weren't even told of it, our expressions were just like that when she was taking the photo. I can even think of the captions for the photo. Mine would be, "Must we leave? I want more meat please! It's playing Korean music, don't leave please!"

Hers would be, "I'm so full I feel so sleepy. I miss my boyfriend!" Yup, totally a random thought.

Group pic!

After that, we decided to head for some exercise before heading to our dessert shop! And of course, being the BFFs that we are, our exercise would obviously be KARAOKE! So we walked to the nearby Teo Heng, but the rooms were all full. So we had to think of an alternative, at Katong the other best thing to do is to play LAN! Cheap rates to play LAN games are available at alot of various shops around the area. So we decided to head into one of it and play some games!

Played for more than 2hours and we finally had some room for desserts, so off we went to my new favourite hangout, The Cheesecake Cafe! I also had the cravings for the cakes there! Took a bus there, and once again the service staffs were very welcoming!

Oh a reminder, if you want to have seats inside the cafe rather than sitting at the alfresco area, it's best if you call and make a reservation beforehand.

This time, they had a weekly special that isn't on their menu, the chocolate orange cheesecake. So we ordered one of it, and their peach jelly, rum and raisin cheesecake and my personal fave, chocolate banana cake!

So called "celebration" for the birthday girl!

Group pic!

We spent roughly 3hours just sitting there chatting. It's really very comfortable, since seats are separated quite far apart and the jazz music played makes one very much at home. And the cakes, very very delicious! We finished all of it within a half hour.

Time to camwhore!

The cafe has lots of various statues and lots of mirrors. Awesome place to do some camwhoring!

Sofa with cushions! LOVES!

Mirrors are everywhere! We can't resist not taking a photo!

I love this place! It's perfect! Everything is great there! Especially the staff! <3

Finally finishing at roughly 1130pm, we took buses back home. Showered, and played monopoly cards till 3+am before presenting our gift to Kimberly.

Spend 2 days doing this! I swear I'm not going to do any handmade gifts anymore. Takes too much of my time! But glad she loved it! The folding of the hearts was very very tiring! Happy that the final product looked so nice!

Group pic before all of us finally fall asleep!

HAPPY ADVANCED BIRTHDAY TO YOU GIRL! =D

Due to the following day being a Monday, and Kimberly can't apply for leave at her company. She had to wake up early to head for work, but that doesn't affect me and Daphne at all. We slept through till 1pm before finally waking up. Had lunch, watched videos before finally showering and heading to meet her to watch the show we want to watch the most!

Sex and the City 2!!! I was super duper happy when I saw that its M18 instead of R21! The first movie was super happening and was super funny as well! This one wasn't a letdown either! 2 and a half hours, but no parts of the show made me want to fall asleep. It was soooo interesting and hilarious that you won't even know that time passed! I personally recommend it to all members of O.C.K. and Frenz! You guys will definitely love this show!!! Confirm and chop!

Ratings: 9.5/10
Comments: Super nice, MUST WATCH!!!!

Miss Those Days...

Even though my internship days has ended for more than 3 months now, I'm still proud to say that I've still been keeping contact with my colleagues from Five Stars Tours Tampines. Headed out for desserts one fine night, my colleague said there's a shop that serves superb cheesecake, so we met up roughly around 10pm for some late night dessert.

This is one dessert shop that I personally recommend, although I don't really like the taste of cheese and milk. It's located near Siglap Centre and it has one of the best atmosphere for one to chill out and take a break, have a chat with friends over a cuppa coffee!

It's The Cheesecake Cafe! The interior of the cafe was really magnificent! Just makes one very relaxed. After sitting down, you wouldn't want to leave for hours, I can assure you that!

While waiting for the others to arrive, what more can we do apart from taking photos at such a cool place. Oh and one reminder, this cafe doesn't allow you to take photos of the cafe itself. While we were all in awed of this place, we took out our cameras and decided to take a photo or two of the place, but the waiter walked up to us and said that photos of the shop isn't allowed unless a party of the group is in it. How cool is that?! Although I don't know what's the difference of taking the place with or without a person in it. But what do I know?

My only fellow intern at the same branch of the company.

Everyone arrived, and we took more photos while waiting for our orders.

Anyways, we actually met up to celebrate one of our colleagues birthday, so a reservation of 12cakes was made beforehand, because their cakes are really awesome and would normally sell out before 10pm.

A mix of various slices of cake.

They have really really special types of cheesecakes that you can't find at other cafes, and they taste mad awesome. Even a non-cheesecake lover like me, love the taste of it! The cheese isn't too overbearing, and together with the various flavours, makes the entire cake damn nice! They do also serve non-cheese cakes as well, I personally recommend the Chocolate Banana Cake! DAMN CHOCOLATEY AND NICE! Oh, and their service was really great, maybe because the place isn't too big, the service is kinda personalize. They actually come to your table after some time to see if you need any assistance or just to do some refilling of your drinks. Super in love with the place!

Group picture to end off! Go and have desserts there, trust me, DAMN NICE!

20.05.2010. Definitely one of the most memorable days in my life, I mean I'll try my best to remember this very day. It's the official graduation for HTMers leaving TP! =(

Yes, it's been 3 long years since the first day I've stepped foot into TP as a freshman. Thinking back, it has been one of my aim to head into TP and taking up this specific course when i was in secondary 3. I don't know where did the motivation come from, but apparently I did get what I aimed for, good or bad, I didn't really know at that time. All I knew was that, all other polytechnics and junior colleges doesn't attract me as much as TP does, call it the beauty of TP i guess. The school just gives me a very strong sense of belonging, maybe due to it's small campus but filled with warmth!

So anyways, purchased the Hogwarts School lookalike robe, or what we call the graduation gown, which is like chio, since it's red and black. It would have been better if it was orange. Let my niece put it on to take a photo, she didn't really like it, since it was super duper big for her, my sister had to hold it if not it just falls off.

Look at her! She looks like she's the one graduating and not me. Well, in 2 years time, she'll be graduating... from Kindergarten. =D

Headed to TP for the very last time, this time to collect my diploma. Mummy went with me, to view the ceremony, although it isn't a very big deal, since it's just a diploma, but I really appreciated her being there with me. Thanks mummy!

The ceremony was supposed to start at 930am, but we were asked to report at 830am. Well, I thought that we were to report one hour earlier to do some basic rehearsal or something like that, but I was so wrong. All the graduates just stood loitered around the area with their friends and family waiting to enter the auditorium. Which meant, I woke up an hour earlier for nothing! *curses*

Okay, so we finally entered the auditorium, and I'm super lucky that Candy, since her surname is Cheah and mine is Cheang for the record, we sat next to each other. At least we have company, rather than sitting alone, acting all emotional and freaking out before heading onto the stage or whatsoever.

While waiting for the start, camwhore!!!

We were actually separated, so more than half of the clique was seated at the opposite side, all dressed in black robes. If our campus was some kinda castle theme, we might actually be learning wizardy and graduating from magic classes! Imagine that!

So, the ceremony started on time, perhaps due to the fact that there's another one starting at 1pm, and if we don't finish it on time at 1130am, the next ceremony might be affected. Then you must be thinking, "but there's 1hr30mins more what?" Yeah, you're right, but if we end late then we won't get the chance to take pictures right? And there's something people might not know, HTMers are crazy people who love to take photos, like crazy amounts of them, I'm serious! So end early, means more time to take photos right?

What's so special about this photo you might ask. Well, on careful look, you might actually see a lady with a white tudung standing near the stage queuing for her turn to collect her certificate. Well, what's so unique about her? She's the only lady wearing tudung in HTM, and the only tudung wearer out of the 400+ students graduating. How rare is that? Total gem lah! Yes, Zakiah if you see this, you should be feeling proud of yourself, and thanking me for calling you a rare gem. =D

Took a photo with mummy before she heading off.

BFF! 3years ago headed into the same course, now we're graduating holding the same diploma! Proud of you or what?! Love!

BFF and BFF's BF! So many Bs and Fs.

Yeah, quite the shocker for fellow HTMers I know, but well, I used to be in the same project group as her. Yes, poor Steffi and Me! HAHA!

With Candy once again.

With Mr Pras, the tutor during the first semester of Year 1. I'll never forget the time when we all got back our Introduction to H&T project that we've done. It's a group project, and Mr Pras was saying how well we've done, and how he likes the idea and concept blah blah blah. And we all were thinking, "Okay, at least a B or B+ minimum!" But apparently we were so wrong! He flipped the page and written on it was C+! The group was totally pissed! Right fellow O.C.K.?

With lookalike sister, Su-lin! Clicked really well since the start of orientation! Although we went from the pure and innocent to what we are now, I'm proud to say, at least we walked and transitioned at the same time, due to what Ms Lau Biyin has imparted to us!

With the super bimbo Yin-ying! Although I can't remember how we first met and managed to become friends, but really enjoyed all the times we had together!

With Cassie, fellow project mate for the last semester of study. She's one who can really take jokes despite us calling her Bushy! HAHA! Enjoyed the times we chiong together for projects and gossip and complaining and ranting during those period of time.

With Soon Kueh Mei Bin. Fellow classmate during the days at Sentosa. Had fun going to Fort Siloso together with our various group members! And all the casual and random "hi", "bye" and chit chats!

Always that disgusting face, I'll never forget unless she decides to head to Korea for plastic surgery. =D

The leader of the club, my Ah Bu, Lau Biyin! Although she has been super busy working since the unofficial graduation, we still talk about her whenever the clique heads out. Just misses here whenever we're out, perhaps due to the lack of dirty talk I guess. Stuck together since orientation, and hope more years down too!

Sinee! Fellow Five Stars intern, although we didn't spend much time together during our internship, but I'm glad to have someone who stands on the same line when we're all unhappy about our treatment in Five Stars! It was a really tough time during that period. Lucky all the interns were very united!

AmyChua! The damn crude fellow intern as well! Every sentence ends with vulgar words, I think we can click damn well lah! HAHA!

Chloe! Classmate during Sentosa as well and fellow intern mate. Love the time spend during lessons at Sentosa, and Fort Siloso! Best day ever during Sentosa, since most of the time is devoted to projects and shit.

The impersonation of my smile! WIDE! SHOW YOUR TEETH! Apparently, joe isn't doing it right, so we did it again.

That's better, but Reuben is totally over doing it. Look at his face, ugly like shit! Oh well, even plastic surgery also won't help his face! =D

Sandra! The only intern with me at Tampines outlet of Five Stars. Miss the hours we spend in FSTP, complaining about when it will end, and hearing all the gossip of Five Stars! I'm glad we're there, still having lots of great fun with the colleagues, always heading out for good food and catchup sessions! Enjoy your university years ahead!

Sharon Pohpoh! Sentosa project mate! Tough times we had while trying to enjoy our days at Sentosa! Heading for mahjong sessions, playing computer games rather than doing projects, eventually chiong like mad to finish it all up. All our ideas were great, but too bad the tutors don't appreciate our work! At least we know we're proud of our work!

Sock, Leng! The super auntie Sentosa project mate and fellow mahjong khaki! HAHA! Super fun times during Sentosa period. Without the wonderful group members, I think I'll be super lonely! Awesome times we had!!! The many days of Superdog!

Priskoh! Fellow love love! HAHA! Can't even remember how we become love love! Are we in the same SSM group? Or not? Well, it was fun having super random chats on facebook!

Valarie Phang! Fellow classmate during last semester of study. Okay, I'm getting really tired at writing short memories of each person I took a photo with. Lucky I'm not that close with the entire HTM, if not I will be writing almost 300 short memory for each person.

I don't know about this, it's just random!

Fellow slacker, Regina! O.C.K. since start of Year 1! Enjoyed all the great times we had together. Project, slacking, SSM, and thousand million other things lah! You know I know can already!

Fellow slacker and the person who led me into K-pop, Sheila! Got to thank her for that though, enjoyed watching SNSD! HAHA!

Heng Ying! Super auntie, and super disgusting voice! Please don't sing anymore in future, it's really torturing for the listeners! I think we've told you umpteen times, but you always fail to listen! Seriously need to knock some sense into that thick head of hers!

Liling! Super meticulous! Always prepare small little gifts for us, whether it's a special day or not! Really appreciate all the small gestures and the hangout sessions!

Another random pic.

Fellow H13, Drusilla!

More of the class.

My rich brother, Donovan! Eh, you still haven't give me my allowance fot the past few months! You owe me, get mum and dad to transfer to me! HAHA! I think the only time we talked alot was during Public Speaking class in Year 1? Super duper long ago!

Fellow crazian, Xiaoting! Or Xiao Ting Dong!

One more pic with her.

With Mr Png, tutor during Year 2. He's super cool! Short and simple!

BFF and Mr Png!

The only 2 who stay in Yishun during Year 1. Tough time having to travel super far just to go home and to school. Lucky we had each other for company! I still remember the first day that I saw her on the bus. Thought that she looked like just another Minah, and a very arrogant one too! Totally didn't expect her to be in HTM, and in my class, and whats more eventually in my clique. Talk about fate!

Yes, the only gem in the entire HTM. Ms tudung, Zakiah! Awesome time spent since Year 1! Even though our clique speaks mandarin most of the time, I'm really surprised that she isn't really pissed at us, but we still manage well as a clique! I don't even know how she can endure it, if you throw me into a MAT and MINAH clique, I think I'll just die there. Really apologise for all the times we spoke in mandarin even though you were there, but not to worry, we weren't talking bad about you, because of we are, we would have said it in english right in your face! =D

O.C.K. and Frenz gathering for a group picture together. Apparently because we're quite a huge clique, it took us quite alot of time to get settled to take a photo! And seriously, it's a super long time!

Group pic! Definitely gonna miss the times where all of us can gather together and enjoy each other's company! Love ya guys!

More pics!

What's Graduation without jump shots right? Since it's a big group, it's super difficult for all of us to do a jump shot together, so we spilt oursleves into various small groups. First up, Biyin, Hengying and Cassie.

Biyin and Hengying look great in both, Cassie just look strange, think it's the hair! Get a new hairstyle girl!

Following that,Regina, Sheila and Jocelyn. Sheila's hair just looks super funny, total mushroom head! But the height off the floor for all of them is like the same lah!

This would be mad chio if Jocelyn can be abit more demure and do less of that crazy antic! She's like super high!

Next up, Sulin, Yinying and Zakiah. What can I say? It looks more like a struggle for air, look at their legs, total shaky feel.

Now this is nice, but where's zakiah looking at?

Next, Candy and Liling. 2 words, Go figure! I'm totally speechless. Maybe there's better pics of them in someone else's camera.

Too busy taking the photos of them, I became so tired, I just decided to sit down. The gown was super duper long, and makes me so uncomfortable sitting.

The super elegant and lady-like pose was the most comfortable! I'm a very sophisticated person! Whoever that don't agree can go fuck yourself and die! Yes, fellow O.C.K. and Frenz members, most of you would have fucked yourself and died! =D

Next, my turn. This totally turned out stupid! I was actually talking to Biyin when the others counted to 3. So in the end, Reuben jumped and I stayed put, making it look like he's totally despising me! HMPH!

BEST PIC! I think it's the best out of everyone's lah! Mad chio! And since we both have short hair, no hair covered our face, which makes it the best our of all lah! Super hot and handsome! =D

Super addicted to taking jump shots that we keep doing it.

A bigger group than before.

Eventually we decided to try all of us jumping at the same time, while putting the cameras on timer mode. Didn't turn up well, since we couldn't really grasp the timing well. See, I'm the only one who's up! Talk about being fast.

Next, Sulin's the only one up now. Seeing how difficult it is to coordinate, we just gave up.

With Ms Goh, the prettiest tutor lah! Don't even look her age! Nothing but praises for her, since she gave us pretty good results for our projects. HAHA!

After feeling the heat, and having super heavy perspiration since we were being driven out of the air-conditioned area, and taking so many jump shots, we headed off to change out of the formal wear, and head for our last O.C.K. and Frenz gathering, I guess. Since it's gonna be super difficult for all of us to meet up again! But please try, my dears!

Everyone loves my T shirt, I love it too! =D

With Yingfang before leaving TP.

With Steffi.

With Ming Fang.

Yes, I'm feeling super tired, typing such a long post, so forgive me if it gets boring along the way.

So, we wanted to go to MINDS cafe for some fun with boardgames, but after raising up many issues about heading there, we eventually decided to head to Seoul Garden for buffet. From heading to town, we went to Tampines Mall. Yes, pathetic I know.

Waiting for the bus.

Damn long since all of us gathered together.

Damn long since I last had Seoul Garden, food still tastes the same, but they were playing K-pop songs, which was super duper high!

Our tables were super duper fulled, packed with lots and lots of food.

If we were eating at a fine dining restaurant, I think we would have been kicked out. Too much noise pollution, and with Biyin, dirty talk came back, but we seriously enjoyed oursleves!

After lunch, we headed to watch Shrek Forever After, the Final Chapter.

Definitely don't suggest heading to watch it. Either I was too tired to really bother about the story plot or it was really boring. And of course, it's the latter. Nothing fanciful, it's just a very short and direct ending of the entire Shrek series. Although I really do love the kids Donkey had with the dragon. Imagine cute little donkeys with wings and can breathe fire, how cool is that! And a super duper fat Puss who can't even wear his boots? HAHA! And oh yeah, the totally funny scene, who sounds super wrong, Donkey and Puss talking about licking each other. SUPER FUNNY! Licking pussy, geddit? HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Rating: 6/10
Comments: Maybe it's that I'm feeling super sleepy, but it's seriously not a good ending to a Shrek. The first 3 are so much better!

Trailer:

Headed to Coffee Bean to slack and chit chat for more than 3 hours. This is the best thing we do, sit down, relax and slack! That's what we do best!

I LOVE O.C.K. and Frenz!!!! We got to meet up as and when we can to catch up on life!!

Now, I'm officially a graduate with a Diploma in Hospitarity and Tourism! Take that Ris Low!!!

P.S. I just wrote whatever that comes to mind, so pardon me for the boring-ness of this post!
